Becoming a NATC resident is a simple phone call away. Our admissions specialists are eager to help you every step of the way.

How long does inpatient treatment last?

Treatment typically lasts about 30 days.

Where is your facility located?

NATC is located in the Los Angeles San Fernando Valley in Encino, California.

What should I bring and not bring into treatment?

We recommend bringing:

  • Identification/Driver’s License
  • Prescription card or pharmacy card
  • Insurance cards
  • Five days’ worth of clothes
  • Personal hygiene items
  • Workout outfit
  • Swimsuit
  • Cigarettes or e-cigarettes for designated areas

Please leave behind:

Can I involve my family in treatment?

Yes, family therapy can be arranged outside of the daily set schedule.

Is NATC just a 12 Step program?

The Twelve Step principles and practices are a strong focus of our treatment program, but NATC’s treatment plans are tailored to fit each resident’s needs and challenges with evidence-based practices and a caring multidisciplinary team.

Your Stay at NATC

Is there medical staff on-site?

Yes, we have a medical doctor on staff 24/7.

What kind of food is served?

NATC provides a food catering service with a chef to meet specific dietary accommodations. We also place weekly grocery orders composed by the residents.

Can I smoke at the facility location?

Yes, in designated smoking areas.

Will there be a TV in my room?

Yes, every bedroom, including the living room and den, has a television.

Can family call me while I am in treatment?

Yes. A consent form must be on file for the person.

Can I receive mail or email?

Yes, residents can receive correspondence through mail or email.

After Treatment

Does NATC have an alumni program?

Yes. Our alumni program allows you to be a part of an extensive support group to form new relationships with individuals of similar experiences.

Do I have to continue to go to 12 Step meetings or support groups?

Mutual support and self-help groups such as 12 Step meetings can be a powerful relapse prevention tool, shifting social networks that promote sobriety.
