Life After NATC
Moving Forward Together
Northridge Addiction Treatment Center Alumni Program
Returning home after residential treatment can be overwhelming and leave you riddled with anxiety. Although you will be completely prepared to face your old life and remain sober, there will be many firsts. Being fully immersed in moments and creating meaningful personal relationships may make you feel uneasy, especially if you were using drugs or alcohol for a long time. These new experiences can cause any recovering individual tension. You are not alone. We are here for you even after you walk out of NATC’s doors.
A Beacon of Strength
When you become part of NATC’s alumni program, you become a part of an extensive support network, cultivating new relationships with individuals who have gone through the same recovery stages. Our program allows individuals to be in a family community who benefit from each other’s sympathy, moral support, and encouragement to live a substance-free life.
NATC holds weekly alumni 12 step meetings and embraces camaraderie with family-style barbeques every weekend. We encourage members to speak with residents to boost confidence and ambition for their life after recovery. NATC also offers quarterly events for alumni members and holds flag football, softball, kickball, and baseball tournaments. We know lasting recovery is not an easy accomplishment and an ongoing evolution. NATC’s alumni program can be your greatest relapse prevention tool.
