Mirtazapine Abuse
Mirtazapine, commonly referred to as Remeron, is a prescribed medication used for treating depression. It can cause a euphoric high that alleviates pain and may accompany drowsiness and stimulate appetite, which makes it helpful in addressing numerous symptoms. However, those results also pose a danger of potential addiction and dependency.
What is Remeron?
Remeron, also recognized as mirtazapine, is an FDA-approved antidepressant. Classified under tetracyclic antidepressants, it is a potent solution for major depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), insomnia, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
The medication’s intricate formulation exerts a multifaceted impact on the central nervous system, similar to the effects of tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs). Remeron is also a powerful drug for various conditions, such as insomnia, panic issues, obsessive-compulsive ailment (OCD), post-traumatic stress ailment (PTSD), anxiety issues, complications, and migraines. Its remarkable versatility makes it an invaluable choice for addressing various psychiatric and neurological challenges.
Remeron Tablets
Remeron is conveniently offered in tablet form to facilitate its administration. As per the recommendations of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the commencement of Remeron treatment usually involves a daily dosage of 15 mg. In cases where symptoms fail to improve, patients may be prescribed a maximum daily dosage of 45 mg to achieve the desired therapeutic effect.
Remeron tablets are available in two strengths:
- 15 mg: The tablet is red and oval-shaped with “MSD” on one side and “T3Z” on the other.
- 30 mg: The tablet is oval-shaped, displaying distinct red and blue colors, with “MSD” written on one side and “T5Z” on the other.
Innovating further, RemeronSolTabs offers new Remeron tablets that dissolve with ease. These cutting-edge tablets come in three strengths: 15 mg, 30 mg, and 45 mg, all sharing a round shape and a pristine white color.
Specifically, the 15 mg tablet bears the mark “T1Z,” the 30 mg tablet is labeled “T2Z,” and the 45 mg tablet proudly displays its unique identifier as “T4Z.” With this new form, Remeron ensures a more convenient and effective treatment experience.
